As the sun was rising recently on a beautiful Fall November morning.
I began to reflect on God's goodness and His faithfulness.
These words resounded in my heart "Be thankful for forgiveness, grace and mercy and I began to smile!"
The words resounded so loud within me that they were like a song being sung inside.

I began to thank the Lord for His forgiveness in my life.
All of us have areas in our lives that need His forgiveness.
I am thankful for His forgiveness on a daily basis.
I am reminded of scripture verse that is found in I John 1:9.
"If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." (NKJV)

Second, I began to thank the Lord for His grace in my life.
Grace is an amazing thing that God has given to us.
Grace is unmerited favor that God granted to us.
I am so encouraged when I read the words of Ephesians 2:8.
"For by grace we have been saved through faith, and that not of ourselves; it is the gift of God." (NKJV)

Third, I began to thank the Lord for His mercy in my life.
The word mercy is used over 200 times in the Bible.
The Lord's mercy is even new to me every morning.
We should be so blessed as we read Lamentations 3:22-23.
"Through the Lord's mercies we are not consumed, because His compassions fail not.
They are new every morning; Great is Your faithfulness." (NKJV)

This year let your heart smile real big!
Thank our Lord for His daily forgiveness, grace and mercy that He gives us.
