A question circling the online world today asks, “Isn’t it amazing that God, who created everything, thought it was important to make you, too?”. Considering the 7 billion people on this planet, not to mention every animal, can make a person feel awfully small or unimportant. Why am I here? What can I do to make an impact on this world?  The idea of one's existence can be a little overwhelming.

I often think about everything that God has given me (family, friends, health) but this phrase really hits me hard. Thinking about how big the world is, I know that He loved me enough to give me this amazing life. He thought that I was important enough to be put on this Earth. Is there really anything else a person could ask for? No matter how hard life gets, there is always something to be thankful for.

It just makes all those petty problems seem so small. There’s no need to worry about retirement, or finding that job, or what so-and-so thinks about you. Worrying will have no effect on the outcome anyway. God created you and He will take care of you. The promise of this statement brings peace to my life and hopefully to yours. So remember when you are feeling lonely or worried, you are important and you were put here for a reason.

Jeremiah 29:11 “For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.”
